Fifth grader Olivia Mancil represented Holly Ridge Elementary at the North Carolina Science & Engineering Fair at NC State in March.

She won the grand prize for Elementary Biological Sciences. It is the highest honor an elementary school student can receive.

Olivia's project was called "Paws and Puzzles." She wanted to see which dogs solved puzzles faster than others.
